Dr. Linda Flieg opened Orchard Road Animal Hospital in 1992 as a full-service veterinary clinic providing quality health care for pets in a warm and caring environment. Dr. Flieg believes in improving pet health by incorporating nutrition, exercise, environment, medicine, and surgery. She also strongly believes in pet owner education!
Prior to opening Orchard Road Animal Hospital, Dr. Flieg practiced veterinary medicine in Aurora and Schaumburg. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Flieg holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has a special interest in internal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Flieg has two sons, Harrison and Sawyer, and a daughter, Amaya, as well as her dogs and cats. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, hiking, camping, and kayaking. She has completed the RAGBRAI ride three times which is a seven-day, approximately 500-mile bike ride across Iowa! She has also added multiple Century Rides(100 miles) to her goal list!
Dr. Flieg enjoys doing agility training and trials with her dogs. She is proud to have achieved her C-ATCH with Lola in 2009. Her 28-acre farm gives her family and her family of pets plenty of room to run and play.
